S. Mark Borowicz PhD
Chief Executive Officer
S. Mark Borowicz PhD joined Pure Wafer Inc. as President and CEO in November 2018. He previously served as Executive Vice President at Nanometrics from March 2013 to March 2018. Prior to Nanometrics, Dr. Borowicz held various management positions in Marketing, Engineering, Business Development and R&D at KLA-Tencor Inc. from 2000 to 2013. Dr. Borowicz also has seven patents in the field of electron beam technologies.
Dr. Borowicz holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University and a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Auburn University.
Chief Financial Officer
Dave has been overseeing corporate finances as CFO since June of 2008. Previously, Dave was Vice President of Finance at Photon Dynamics, Inc., a publicly traded capital equipment provider. His responsibilities included financial planning and reporting, integration of acquisitions and enabling a secondary public stock offering. Prior to that, Dave was Vice President and Corporate Controller for XO Communications, formerly Concentric Network, making significant contributions to the company's growth through multiple acquisitions and a series of public debt and equity offerings. Formerly, he served as Corporate Controller for Borland International, a publicly held software provider and Mouse Systems Corporation.
Dave received his M.B.A. in finance from Indiana University, a B.S. in accounting from Ohio State University and holds a C.P.A. certification from New York State.
Vice President of Sales
Ernie Sedillo joined Pure Wafer in July 2010 as Director of Business Development before being promoted to VP of Sales in Jan 2015. Mr. Sedillo is also the head of Corporate Marketing and the Information Technology for Pure Wafer. In this role, he focuses on the development and execution of strategies to achieve key corporate goals, manages the analysis of global semiconductor markets to drive the technology roadmap, and leads communication campaigns for corporate branding and messaging.
He began his career at Novellus Systems in 1995, where during his 15 year tenure he held numerous positions within the Applications Lab and Procurement group. His responsibilities included global supply chain management for indirect materials, the development of sales channels for the thin films business, and the development of the wafer management software programs.
